Bjork, Hidden Place (Vespertine 2001 Live: Royal Opera House)
Bjork is my favourite insane Icelander/swan-dress singer/paparazzi puncher. Vespertine is my favourite Bjork album. Hidden Place is one of my favourite songs on Vespertine. My favourite thing to do is sit around in my bed and do basically nothing.
When you put all of these together on a Sunday night, it turns into something epically awesome.
Plus, look! She has nerdy men in white suits doing her music programming LIVE (and shuffling cards??). And she dances funnily! And she has an awesome backing choir.
I told you it was epic.

I don’t think it matters if you like jpop or not, this video should be watched because it’s catchy and there are STRINGS and DANCING GUYS (even if 2/5 of them have really crap hair) and of course, a lot of the appeal (for me) is knowing who they are, and why they parade around like they do, so you should all get to know Arashi, or at least become accquainted with them AND HOLY SHIT THIS IS A HUGE RUN ON SENTENCE.
Anyway, once my dad came in while I was watching Arashi filmclips and he was all “Are they girls?”
“No dad,” I said, “They are just dancing boys.”
“Oh. No boys for you. Not until you finish high school.”
“Thanks… I guess…”
The conclusion of this pointless experiment The point of this post is: Do not let me stay up till 3am watching film clips again. This is what will happen.
Don’t tell my family, they’d never forgive me, they’d tell me I’m crazy but they would say anything if it might shut me up.
