THEN PICK UP THE BLOODY PHONE YOU STUPID COMPANY. At the moment, there is NOTHING I hate more than hold music. I hope to God that no song I like should become hold music, because that would mean I would have to hate it with a bloody passion.

Automated voices, FTL. Automated menus, screw you.

I wrote an entire blog while on hold, I would hang up if it weren’t for the fact that it is imperative I get through to an operator.

ETA: OMFG A BJORK SONG IS A HOLD SONG. The world has deflated and is now flat. And I hate the song now.

    I like to talk into the phone because they say that they sometimes monitor our calls. I say a bunch of terrible things about the company and being put on hold, just in case someone will here.

    I remember when I was a shy litle pre-bupescent boy I’d always hope for automated menus when I made a call to a company. Because, not having acquired my skillz of Eloquence yet, I’d always get nervous and shaky and talk like a girl when on the phone. Except for when it was somebody Chinese. I don’t know why, you just can’t have a shaky voice speaking Chinese.
