Nooo!! Damn you Youtube!
Dear Youtube,
You are NOT HELPING! I have two essays due on Friday, and neither have been started. I have a history test on Friday as well and let’s not even think about revision. French reading and listening tomorrow and Friday (Jeez, why is everything on Friday?) and I can’t even remember how to say “Hello, my name is Tracey”! You know why? Do you know why?!? IT’S ALL YOUR FAULT!
You and your older brother Wikipedia should quickly remove yourself from the internet, to save those students who have every intention of studying but fail to do so because of you and your hilarious videos.
At least stop bombarding me with links to other videos I might like. Cause I’ll like them all. And click on them. And then any plans I ever had of studying ALL GO TO HELL.
Love always,
Tracey.
P.S. While we’re at it, get rid of Livejournal and Myspace too.

I don’t have to worry about YouTube - good ol’ 256 kbps internet (at least it’s faster than 1.6% of wordwide internet connections)

Ditto, but I just have to sit on my computer for me to be doomed :D How can you have the patience to stream YouTube whilst
downloading a bazillion torrents(shhh…) and also whilst having the guilt of being distracted from ever-so-important school work!? But oooh, Wikipedia is a guy now. There go all hopes of starting up any serious relationships :(# Amanda, 1 year, 7 months ago.
They could always become casual lovers rather than serious relationships.
By the way, it’s “Bonjour, je m’appelle Tracey”. ;)

*nods* Wikipedia, facebook and ‘The West Wing’ DVD boxsets are scheming together to cause me to fail my degree. And MSN - on the rare occasion I actually go on it, it ends up stealing my whole evening. :P

I’d probably blame YouTube too, if I was in a faster connection. I have a 28.8kbps, so there goes all my youtubing plans.
I’d probably blame my site. And yours too. :p

My excuse is the PS2 and MSN, for sure. Though with the boyfriend grounded, I was able to finish my 10 page research paper for British Literature. So really, what you need to do, is send youtube to his room for a time out… Maybe that’ll help.

Haha, I totally understand you. I wouldn’t want them all gone though, I’d miss them .. .gosh, I wouldn’t know what to do with all the time! Apart from that Wikipedia actually does half my homework for me ;D
# Amber, 1 year, 7 months ago.
And blogs. And message boards. Basically; abolish the internet except for those that help with homework and then I won’t have so many alternatives to doing my coursework!

oh pauvre toi…je comprends!
that always happens to me! I was totally on YouTube for too long when I should have been studying for finals. but I guess it helps you relax a bit..in moderation that is :P

I can so relate! Broadband and procrastination do not mix. My To-do list is a mile long x_x

When I was in highschool myspace was the bane of my existance. I used to waste my class time on it, and I get to brag that I used to be on myspace for hours at school, and I never had it blocked. I was the “generation” where Myspace was unknown to School’s Admins. HORRAY!
But working on the internets and not getting distracted. ha. as if! o_O

Hahaha I can totally relate! I’ve actually yelled at my computer once for distracting me AND preying on my lack of self-control and my love for funny videos. I know I should probably turn it off to get stuff done but almost 80% of my homework needs to be typed up!
Oh yeah.. and myspace and facebook, too!
