Holidays!

Does the end of year nine and junior school mean the end of my slacker “Let’s not do the assignment until the night before it’s due!” attitude? Does the school certificate mean I will become more conscientious in my studies? Um, I don’t think so! It’ll take more than a change in grade and a couple of exams to change that!

So today is my first official day of summer freedom. What am I going to do all holidays? SLEEP. I think I’ve earned it (but maybe I’m a little biased.) I can’t quite believe that Christmas is only in a couple of days (I can’t believe they would only let school out a couple of days before it…) so I’m sort of wandering around my town gaping at all the “MERRY CHRISTMAS” signs in the shop windows, and blinking my eyes furiously at the lights strung up everywhere.

Ahhh… Five weeks of relaxation. Doesn’t it sound blissful?

Merry Christmas everybody, and I hope that next year brings you happiness in all aspects of your life!

It’s only the end of junior school, not the end of juvenile behaviour. Lol!
Enjoy your vacation and merry Christmas to you too! :)

Well my holidays started off with a bang, with me having my first eating out with friends at night experience, and my first wandering the streets at night experience. The streets in town I mean. It was like I lost some of my innocence…
My holidays are going to be great. They have already been good. I’m very happy, and I can’t wait for next year.
And five weeks of relexatiopn suck! Do stuff!

*yawwwn* Yeah, whatever you said about sleep. *yawn* For some reason I think we’ve earned this sleep more than ever. Ugh. Maybe because for the past… I don’t know, six months I haven’t had an early night. Blegh. *yaaawn* Five weeeeks Chrasyyyyyyyyyyy….!!! Loave you! :(

Is junior school like high school? I’m so ignorant about non-Canadian/US schooling, but I’m curious…

Have a great holiday. I’m sure you deserve it. Although, I think five weeks off is too short, I think you’d agree, right? I get off for at least three months in the summer and I still complain.

Regardless, have a merry Christmas! :)

Kat - I love that line and you’re completely right!
Gumby - No thanks, I’m happy lazing around and being physcially inactive :P
Boris - SLEEP! You never slept this year!
Rafia - I’m pretty sure our school days are shorter than yours, so I guess our holidays are shorter. Junior school is the first three years of high school (at my school, at least) which are year 7, 8 and 9. So next year is year 10, and secondary education ends at year 12.

    Happy Holidays!

Sleep = Something everyone but me likes.

  7. # Amber, 1 year, 11 months ago.

I LOVE CHRISTMAS! I’m seriously so excited. Much more so than my younger siblings but… Well, I say - enjoy your childhood while you still can. I wish you a very merry Christmas and an even happier New Year!

I hope Santa comes to you :P

*is caught carefully logging correspondence between Boris and Tracey* Uh, Merry Christmas to you too!

  9. # Shawna, 1 year, 11 months ago.

I never knew you guys got out in December! It makes sense though. How long are your school days?

    Merry Christmas!

  10. # Tracey, 1 year, 11 months ago.

*throws elfs and baubles at Jordie* And maybe I should tie you up with a bit of tinsel too! ;)

Shawna, school normally goes from 9 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon. Well at least mine does.

  11. # Kat, 1 year, 11 months ago.

My high school school day was from 7 till 5. That really really really sucked. Big adjustment from 9 to 3 when I lived in London. Anyway, just wanted to greet you a very merry Christmas! :)

  12. # Boris, 1 year, 11 months ago.

Elves! Not elfs! Hehehe, baubles is a funny word. I should go finish the rest of your dodgy present now. *yawn* *procrastinate* *double-yawn*

I don’t like holidays, means too much being bored. *Hops from foot to foot* I don’t need to relax, that’s what I’ve been doing for the last few weeks of school. I’ve practically had my holidays already.

You can’t go wrong with a bit of tinsel. Or fairy lights. Then not only is your captive festive, but in various flashing colours and patters too! That’s got to be the only thing about Christmas that interests me.

Merry Christmas to you too, Tracey.

For some reason, the SC didn’t scare me, the preliminaries irked me a bit, but now I’m freaked out by the HSC. Maybe that’s the way it should be - have all your fun, before you work days and nights before the assignment is due, but still only manage at best, to finish the night before. Hrrm.

I love how holidays = sleep. :) I could use a lot! A merry Christmas to you. :)

  15. # Lils, 1 year, 11 months ago.

Merry Christmas to you too. :D

  16. # Chans, 1 year, 11 months ago.

I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the bes for 2007!

  17. # Boris, 1 year, 11 months ago.

For the fifty-fourth time, MERRY CHRISTMAS! And I’m probably violating some kind of net-law, but you all like laughing at Chrasy, no? Hehehehehe…

  18. # Natasha, 1 year, 11 months ago.

    Merry Christmas!

  19. # Natasha, 1 year, 11 months ago.

Hey, I just read your writings… I was just wondering… do you play tennis? You seem to be a big tennis fan!

  20. # Boris, 1 year, 11 months ago.

:| LOLZROZ! No, you’re hardly a tennis fan are you Chrasy? Hehe!

  21. # Tracey, 1 year, 11 months ago.

BORIS! Stop answering questions for me!

Natasha, I used tennis about a year ago, but I lost my coach so I stopped playing.

  22. # Boris, 1 year, 11 months ago.

I wouldn’t if you didn’t neglect communication so much :P

  23. # Tracey, 1 year, 11 months ago.

Stop talking to me through comments :P You know my email. And my number. And probably everything else.
