Strange mumblings about a strange day

  • I got hit in the head with a cricket bat today.
  • I didn’t win anything on the Melbourne Cup.
  • I’ve been called an insensitive bitch (but with reason, and I feel bad about it).
  • I feel a bit like I’m going to be sick

But I’m strangely optimistic and I’m starting to think that everything will be ok.

Ok, Tracey, yes, so perhaps all that happened, BUT I have reason to believe you received a present (ok, a picture of one, but still) today, so you can forget all about yesterday. Not everyone gets a picture-present every day, in all honesty.

    You know, it just occurred to me that I keep forgetting that you’re older than me by a year — I keep thinking you’re my age. We have way too much in common.
