The return (to normality?)
The holidays completely disrupted my sleeping patterns, thus I fell asleep last night at about 1:00am, tossing and turning and thinking “This is stupid, I am never going to get to sleep…” and then losing all conscious thought. Until at six-thirty my pikachu clock began making a racket and the red lights it has for eyes started blinking (giving it an evil sort of look). I got up, and not without feeling like something really heavy had fallen on my head during the night.
The bus ride to school was normal, everyone was talking, catching up and VERY LOUD. School was normal too, apart from the massive amount of rain that poured down for most of the day making everyone feel pretty miserable. All day, there was a lot of talk about birthdays and presents for both Gumby and I, who happens to have her birthday the day after me.
Anyway, it’s back to the normal routine… Everything’s predictable from now on, no surprises. I don’t know if I’m happy or sad about this.
P.S. Thank you for all your kind words on the previous post.

Pikachu doesn’t have red eyes… Pikachu never has red eyes. And first-day-backs are dodgy anyway. The first time people see you they always ask “How was your holidays?” And rain… RAIN. COLD. 3Vi|_

EVIL EVIL POKEMON WITH BRAIN-CONTROLLING EYES!!!!
Hehehe your nutty present…. and no Sushi and I have not got you a years supply of Picnic bars. Definately not…
That horrible horrible rain… I was soaked all day. It was terrible.
I hate getting up in the morning. I turn my phone alarm off, then pull the blankets back over my head and begin to dread getting up. Then 10 minutes later my radio alarm comes on and I contemplate considering getting up. And pull the blankets over my head again.
Then about 20 minutes after that Mum comes and yells at me to get up. and then I pull the blankets over my head. About 5 minutes later she comes in again and tells me to get up. I do not. Then she pulls the blankets off and I finally get up. I just don’t like mornings…

Hello, Lover of Mr Darcy! I’ve discovered love in your sparkle theme. There are so many themes I am declaring love for these days - it seems I love everyones but my own ;)
When your day starts of with the evil Pikachu waking you up you know it isn’t going to be the best one. I remember watching that program actually; and my infamous joke when I was 7 -
Q: “How do you get a zillion Pikachus on a train?”
A: “You poke ‘em on”
Oh.Dear.

I think that joke’s really funny Amber! :D
How come you’re going back to school? Shouldn’t it be the holidays? I’m probably wrong though!

Heya, just checking up on you after I reviewed your site, and wanted to clear up a few things.
Firstly, the horizontal scrollbar - I was using the default setting in Firefox (horizontal toolbar) and it still appeared - though it would be fixed by making that part of the page wider. I’m currently using a computer at my university though with a larger screen resolution and must admit, “sparkle” looks really nice at this size.
Secondly, the content - apologies I couldn’t expand more on this point (RL, as ever, prevented me from getting stuff done). It’s difficult to suggest what types of content you could add because I don’t know what would be feasible and/or enjoyable for you. I was thinking about tutorials, wallpapers, website layouts, games/quizzes and so on, content that would engage the visitor.
It may be just my personal opinion, but your site has a high technical standard and looks really nice, is accessible and has nice content. I don’t think your site is perfect (that’s impossible) but you must understand, my reviews are more directed towards those who have problems with their websites or think they have a lot to improve on, and to help them do this. I don’t want to nitpick when I review because I don’t think that achieves that objective. If I don’t find serious problems I won’t write as much in a review, because the review would turn into useless waffle.

Aggh, back to school already? I feel your pain, as my college is year-round so my term/semester started two weeks ago. :P

Boris: HOW WAS YOUR HOLIDAYS? :D
Gumby: Tell me why, I don’t like
Mondaysmooooorrrnings.Jessica: Thank you, and yes, I would like to link exchange.
Amber: Oh my gosh, that joke always makes me cringe so much!
Laura: I’m on the opposite site of the world! It’s winter here and my holidays ended a few weeks ago!
Mazzie: I’m definitely going to fix up sparkle for the 800×600 users, but I still maintain that it looks perfectly fine with a horizontal scrollbar. As for the content, I must object to adding wallpapers and quizzes. I’m afraid they’re just not my strengths and not the sort of generic content I’d like on my site. I also understand what you’re saying about directing reviews towards websites that have obvious faults, etc.
Meggan: Oh school is already starting to kill me! It’s boring me so much!

Mhm, it does. I was trying to be picky seeing as there weren’t any more serious problems. And I figured as much about you not liking those types of content - I was trying to point out a possible place for improvement. But as I mentioned in the review, what you have already is perfectly fine :)

Hm, people talking and yelling on the bus is usually the least of my problems. They don’t seem to have enough school buses, so loads of people are crammed onto each one. I’m lucky if I get a seat. When I don’t, I have to stand in the aisle, and the bus jerks and throws everyone off balance when it turns corners.
