- The tiles in my house weren’t freezing (My ugg boots make my feet sweat, which is icky).
- I was Amélie Poulain (I bought the movie yesterday when it was on sale).
- I could figure out what to write in this English essay (Sci-fi isn’t exactly my favourite genre, and Brave New World scares me).
- Wimbledon would hurry up and arrive (I’m over Roland Garros now).
- I could finish the theme I’m making (Little details have to be fixed. As well as that dreaded cross browser compatibility to look at).
- I could stop eating those bloody addictive pringles (”Once you pop, you can’t stop” seems to work for me).
- My hands weren’t too cold to play the piano (I need gloves or something…)

Amélie’s father is an idiot doctor. Come on, the essay isn’t that hard. Especially considering it’s 800 words all you need is 200 words in introduction and conclusion, then 150 words for four points. And you have “Brave New World” to work on, which is a better sci-fi novel than “1984″. It’s due in two days, so hurreee, unless you’re going to do that premise first… Pringles? Oh gee, now I must eat some pringles.

I always thought that scene in Amelie where the narrators like “Amelie never really got into sex”, and then the guy was grunting on top of her, and she’s just giggling and staring into space was really funny for some reason.
I have a weird sense of humour.
Oh, and wear socks with your ugg boots, so they won’t sweat. That’s what I do.

Bloody addictive pringles. I wish I didn’t get a C in my composition. Its highly depressing. Euh. Ugh boots are very comfortable, but its so icky when your feet sweat. Eew (Summer!). Whats with Amelie? I’ve never seen it, but I’ve seen a couple of bits of it, and Audrey Tatou always seems to have that wide-eyed “I’m adorable and like a puppy, come and pat me because I’m cute” kindof annoying look… anyway. Bloody composition. Hmph. You can’t play piano with gloves, unless you get the ones with the tips cut off. and that defeats the purpose of wearing the gloves because your fingertips get really really cold. Maybe you could get thermal sensitive piano keys. like those bathrooms with the floors that you can heat up. that would be cool. hehehe…
Brave New World is very strange, isn’t it! It is a bit scary, especially when you see the parallels between their “Utopian” society and our not-so-utopian society. Its the fear that our world could become theirs. But when this fears sets in, we have to remember that its ONLY A BOOK. ITS NOT REAL. but I agree, it is disturbing.

Tennis scares me. Watching it is so boring.

Ugg boots? What are you, an eskimo? XD I giggle every time I see a girl wearing those things. Pringles, on the other hand… you really CAN’T stop eating them. I had a mini-tin today… more than I’d like, but if you let me I could scoff a whole can. I am trying to control my comfort-eating… damn.

PS. Speaking of sci-fi, have you ever read anything by Lovecraft? I read about him on Wikipedia and I’m interested in reading some of his stuff but Dad said I wouldn’t like it.

Jordie - Hey, I don’t wear my ugg boots out in public! I always get annoyed at people who wear them in public, because… They’re just not the type of shoes that can get dirty and muddy, etc! Sci-fi scares me, so no, I haven’t read anything by love craft.
